Vernon Kay made a public apology on the Radio 1 over the weekend
On the eve of Valentine's Day, Vernon Kay publicly apologised for his 'sex text affairs' with various glamour models, including Rhian Sugden, which were leaked last week.
With an audience of two million, he halted his Saturday Radio 1 show to announce:
"You may or may not be aware that, because of some foolish decisions I've made, I've disappointed and let down a lot of people. To my family and everybody else I am very sorry."
Fearing the public might put the presenter on the spot, producers cancelled any phone-ins from the public, instead playing back-to-back music.
Vernon was later seen taking a cab back to his home in Beaconsfield, Bucks, which he shares with Tess Daly and daughters, Phoebe, five, and nine-month-old Amber.
We're not sure if that would've been enough to make the Strictly Come Dancing presenter forgive and forget - we reckon Vern has a few more nights on the sofa ahead.
