To be honest, we're not sure if a home-cooked dinner by Victoria Beckham would offer much comfort following a break-up (small portions we bet), but Posh is alleged to have offered Eva Longoria just that so she doesn't have to spend the US Thanksgiving holiday on her own... We'd love to be a fly on the wall watching those two carving up a turkey bigger than themselves.
But that's not all VB has done to help her newly single friend (pictured together in a recent phone ad); according to reports, the former Spice Girl has also been rounding up a circle of a-listers - including Sandra Bullock and Teri Hatcher - to cheer up the devastated Desperate Housewives star.
Talking to the Daily Star, a source blabbed:
"Victoria has rounded all the girl troops in their inner clique so they can have some girly time and relax.
"Posh loves playing mother hen and has given her sexy VB dresses to cheer her up and is planning a night on the tiles with all her celeb mates."
It was only last week that Eva announced that she had broken up with Tony, when she issued a statement saying:
"It is with great sadness that after seven years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce.”
The basket ball star is alleged to have since counter filed for divorce, so all hopes of a reconciliation are currently out.
