Hayden dumps SteveHeroes star Hayden Panettiere dumps Steve Jones after summer romance

Here's something that's bound to tarnish Steve Jones' love God image and deflate his fragile ego. Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere has dumped the dashing T4 presenter after their brief summer romance. The 32-year-old lothario began dating the 19-year-old star in May, when the cute couple were spotted at London's exclusive eatery, Nobu. They then took their fling to Cannes for the film festival where they spent most of their time sunbathing and flirting on a yacht. But now Hayden has ended it and surely this must be the first time that Steve, who has been linked to other A-list starlets such as Pamela Anderson and Halle Berry, has ever been dumped. And we bet fellow presenter Fearne Cotton, who briefly dated the hunk, is rubbing her hands with glee...

Hayden announced: "I'm single and mingling. Steve lives in London, the distance is a bit too much. Cannes was a great experience. I was on vacation and some friends were going so I decided to come along. It was fun."

We can't think of anything more fun than sunning ourselves on a yacht in the South of France in the company of Steve Jones.

The star told another publication after that: "I don't know how to date. I'm not good at learning that sometimes you don't like someone in that way - and figuring out how to deal with that. Because I don't want to hurt his feelings."

Surely she can't be referring to Steve... Can she?
