We couldn\'t believe that Vinnie from Australian soap Home & Away had returned to our screens as the ripped-to-perfection hunk Jason Stackhouse in HBO\'s hit US series True Blood. The Aussie star won us over with his loveable yet slightly promiscuous character in the sexy vampire series, and we can\'t wait for the third series to hit our small screens next year. \r\n

This time last year he was an unknown painter and decorator from Essex, but now 27-year-old Matt Cardle has already celebrated hitting the Christmas no.1 spot with his debut single, When We Collide, after being named the winner of the X Factor earlier this month. Oh, and he\'s also just released his own book, My Story. We expect to see a lot more of him in 2011.\r\n

American-British actor Andrew Garfield (who was born in LA but grew up in Surrey) is heading for superstardom following his breakout year in 2010. The 27-year-old has been nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in The Social Network and is set to take over from Tobey Maguire as the next Spiderman.

OK, so RPattz was probably our Favourite Man of 2009 too, but we can\'t get enough of this Twilight heartthrob. The 24-year-old British star is currently filming the next vampire instalment, Breaking Dawn, as well as completing movie Water For Elephants alongside Reese Witherspoon, and the filming for period piece Bel Ami opposite Christina Ricci and Uma Thurman.\r\n

David Beckham
This is probably another obvious choice but David Beckham is a man who just seems to get better and better with age. The footballer was also named Sports Personality of The Year earlier this month, and made a touching speech to wife Victoria, during which he reduced her to tears after announcing: \"Victoria, you\'re an inspiration to me.\"

So technically Simon Cowell\'s cuties aren\'t men just yet, but the utterly adorable boys stole our hearts after being placed in boy band One Direction on this year\'s X Factor. Especially cheeky Harry Styles and gorgeous Zayn Malik. OK, that\'s enough fawning, they are teenagers after all - but we expect 2011 could be their year. And we know our Editor Vic will be pleased they made it on here!\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Another Hollywood hunk we\'ve only just recently become aware of is Sam Worthington. He finally hit our radar after appearing in Hollywood blockbusters Avatar and Clash Of The Titans, and we\'re sure there\'s plenty more of those to come next year.

Obviously we\'ve had a crush on Hollywood hottie Ryan Gosling ever since we clapped eyes on him in blubfest The Notebook, but his career seems to have flourished this year after being nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance opposite Michelle Williams in Blue Valentine. Let\'s hope it\'s an Oscar nomination next year!
Men of 2010: Taylor Lautner

Again, Taylor Lautner was our Favourite Man of 2009, but we think he deserves a special mention this year for looking so incredibly hot in Twilight\'s Eclipse. He\'s currently filming the next saga Breaking Dawn, so we can look forward to that in 2011.

Tom Hardy has been on the acting on the scene for quite a while but 2010 has seen the British star shine. With an exceptional performance in this year\'s blockbuster Inception, the actor has already been filming alongside Reese Witherspoon in romcom This Means War, and is rumoured to star as Dr. Hugo Strange in the third upcoming Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises.\r\n
