I loved it. It was the most difficult experience of my life, but it was also the best. I was myself all the way through and I think that came across. It has been a really great learning curve.
So what were your high points?
Walking in London fashion week was amazing! I love the vibe and energy of fashion shows. At a photo shoot its just one frame, next frame, and next frame But a fashion show flows, which helps you to block out the nerves. Winning the walking challenge was important for me too.
And what were the most challenging parts?
Posing with male models was very distracting! But the Company shoot with your model George was great; I mean, how hot is George?! We spend a lot of time nude or in our underwear during the show it seemed like Britains Next Naked Top Model at some points! The 30-foot jump was also tough; at that point I felt Id physically had enough, I dont think I was on the same level as the other girls in competitiveness oh, I just made up a word!
Did you enjoy like living in the house with the other girls?
Some of the things we got up to were so childish! But it was a lot of fun. And as much as you see people fighting in there, it is all really blown out of proportion. Especially the whole Kirsty thing; there was a cut of me saying she irritated people I should probably get in touch with her to make sure she wasnt offended. She cooked for everyone, and I really appreciated her because Im not great with cooking, or anything else thats practical! Ive learnt so much from all the girls.
How was the AMAZING trip to Malaysia?
Looking back it was so an amazing, but at the time it was like living in cloud-cuckoo land! Lionel Ritchie was staying in the penthouse next door to us, a famous racing driver got papped outside our hotel it was mad!
Do you think you could get used to that lifestyle?
Oh yeah! Id love it! Ive always doubted myself, I didnt think I could be up there doing it for real, but now I believe I can have it.
And whos your favourite to win now?
Alisha is my favourite; I think shes got a lot to give, both mentally and with her looks. Looks matter, but how you feel about affects how well you will do. So personality is very important.
Why dont you think you made it?
I think criticising myself definitely held me back. Elle gave me advice to be more confident and so did the other girls. I just need to get out there and start pushing myself strike while the irons hot, you know?
So will you be continuing with modelling?
Yes Im going to pursue modelling. Its a tough industry, Ive learnt that, but I think Ive got over that barrier of thinking Im not good enough to make it. I got into the top five and that means a lot.
Ah, super good luck!
