Jen talks Gerard and MexicoJennifer Aniston reveals why she wanted Gerard to join her in Mexico

We're not sure if it's 40-thing, but Jennifer Aniston sure has got candid about her personal life (compared to how private she's been in the past anyway). Just last week she showed-off her home in the Architectural Digest, and now she has appeared in US show Access Hollywood to talk about her The Bounty Hunter co-star and 41st birthday in Mexico.

In the multipart interview, she first deals with the subject of rumoured boyfriend Gerard, revealing:

"We just had so much fun [making the movie] together, you know. He's just fun. Gerry's the most unpretentious guy.

"He's a guy's guy, but he's absolutely the most lovely and sort of self-deprecating [person] and just what you see is what you get. We look at work the same way... We always had each other's back."

Next up, she chatted about her 41st birthday celebrations in Mexico, revealing:

"[Mexican] people survive on us coming down and spending money. It sort of made sense to sort of say, 'Hey, let's help out Mexico.' "

Great excuse for a holiday, Jen - although not quite up there with Angelina's trip to Haiti.
