It must be pretty daunting to portray one of the 20th century’s most beautiful icons, but Michelle Williams captures all of Marrilyn - the look, the mannerisms, the voice - with style and grace!

Our winner is... George Clooney. Gorgeous George has been our favourite ever since he burst onto our small screens in ER. We loved seeing another side of him in the emotional (and funny) The Decendents. We’d love to see him walk away with the Best Actor crown! NB: We are gutted our hero of the year Mr Gosling isn’t an option here.

Our winner is... George Clooney, Grant Heslov, Beau Willimon, "The Ides of March" This fast-paced political drama’s script was both gripping and fast paced. Pssst. We’re not denying that the fact the lines were delivered by the gorgeous Gosling didn’t help persuade us on this script.

Our winner is... Woody Allen “Midnight in Paris” In this film Woody Allen does for Paris what he did for New York with Annie Hall; made us love the city! Allen is back on form with this kooky funny film about going back in time in the world’s most romantic city. But we wouldn’t be shocked if Spielberg stole this one for the amazing War Horse!
