Get ready for sun, sea and an almighty selection of sounds - The Great Escape in Brighton returns this May with its annual music festival.
Not only can we announce the first wave of acts set to perform at this year's event, but were also proud to reveal that Company will be hosting a stage at this years extravaganza. As well as programming a stage full of the hottest Rising Stars, Team Company will be scouring the streets for Brightons most stylish for our festival street style blog, as well as running a competition to find our very own festival reporter. Keep checking the website for more details.
The three day event (May 16th - 18th) will provide the hottest emerging talent such as Tom Odell, AlunaGeorge, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Eddi Front, King Krule and CHVRCHES and will also see the return of BΔSTILLE, who first made us swoon with his melodic storytelling at a tiny venue in 2011, and now storms the festivals biggest stage.
The Great Escape has a track record for presenting artists on the brink of universal discovery, having seen seminal performances from Adele, Bat For Lashes, The XX, Foals, Django Django, Alabama Shakes, Haim and Alt-J to name but a few...so who knows, this year's event might uncover the future Florence!
Buy Early Bird tickets at only £45 for three-day access to the festival via the escapegreat.com website or in person at Resident records in Brighton. To gain access to BΔSTILLE's Brighton Dome Show, attendees can top up their festival wristband for only £7 per show, or purchase a separate gig ticket for £14.50 at www.escapegreat.com.
