Alexander McQueen's reptilian-meets-sci-fi print mini dress has been the red carpet choice for 2 leading ladies of late. True Blood's Anna Paquin went with the plunge-neck option at Saturday night's Screen Actors Guild awards teamed with gold accessories and expertly coiffed tresses. While model, actress and academic Lily Cole broke out her more-modest McQueen at the Japanese Dr Parnassus premiere opting for the long-sleeved version of the mini and letting her ridiculously long legs steal the show.
But which look do we love more? There is something a little bit jumpsuit-esque about the padded top of Lily's dress (and that's jumpsuit in the original, boiler-suit-meets-handyman, sense) but the bright yellow accents on the hips are great and she certainly works the mini aspect. And Anna's dress gets the glam points but it is an easier version to pull off - and is that neckline a plunge too far?
Time to put it to the vote - over to you ladies...
