Forget everything you knew about the Bohemian trend, this season\'s new Folk look is cooler, edgier and it won\'t make you look like you enjoy tofu and stringing daisies together in your spare time.  With the likes of fashionista\'s Alexa Chung and Peaches Geldof already counting themselves as fans this is one trend that won\'t be passing us by so, from the subtle to the in-your-face we\'ve put together our favourite snaps of the celebs pulling off this season\'s Folk trend...

Alexa Chung

It seems that the T4 pop princess can do no wrong in the style stakes since she emerged on our screens one hungover Sunday morning. Making this trend look oh-so-easy, we\'re loving the way Alexa has accessorised this long floral print dress. The tan satchel is the perfect accompaniment to this look and black ankle boots give an edgier feel to the floral dress.

Kimberley Stewart

It takes a brave soul to wear vibrant colours head to toe but Kimberly Stewart pulls it off with aplomb. We love the paisley pattern on this long flowing dress and the trailing scarf and vivid red belt inject some colour amongst a sea of black.

Peaches Geldof

This fur-lined gillet with knitted sleeves is a great alternative to a winter coat and will update everything in your wardrobe! Wear it with a tea dress and opaque tights for a great take on the Folk trend.

We love Rachel Bilson\'s styles and this pretty plum patterned top looks great with her blue skinny jeans and flats. If you\'re not used to patterns or bright colours, ease yourself out of the black and beige rut with a simple loose top like this one.

Never one to shy away from a new trend, Mischa looks great in this short patterned skirt and fringed knee-high boots and the classic white tee stops things looking too busy.

Showing that the Folk trend can look chic and sophisticated enough for a night out, Kate looks effortlessly glam in this black gillet. Despite dressing head to toe in black the fur trim and long gold necklace make this look far from dull.
