Fashion editor Kirsty Hathaway on Drew Barrymore

\r\n\r\n

\'Drew is a girl\'s girl. A real girl in the midst of Hollywood\'s insanity, but here she looks every inch the star. Clad in Spring/Summer\'s must do trend, nude, she looks chic, elegant and, well, beautiful. The detail at the hip and shoulder make the dress more unusual and interesting. We heart you Drew and we heart this dress.\'

Diane Kruger

Assistant fashion editor Emma Bigger on Diane Kruger

\'What went wrong!! Diane is usually tres chic and stylish but this get up makes her look like a bridesmaid at a Vegas wedding! It\'s so wrong on so many levels - the colour, the ruffle neckline and the funny white corsage belt thing. Wrong, wrong, wrong!\'

Sandra Bullock

Fashion director Oonagh Brennan on Sandra Bullock

\r\n\r\n

\'I love the cut of this dress, it\'s really flattering - but the sickly purple chiffon is very dated and looks like an old pair of curtains.  It would have been perfct in a nude or soft grape colour.\'

Anna Paquin

Assistant fashion editor Emma Bigger on Anna Paquin

\r\n\r\n

\'Anna looks slightly awkward in this dress. It\'s a fabulous dress and I love the neckline but I don\'t think it really suits her. It makes her look older than she is and the shoes definitely do not work on her. She doesn\'t have the elegance to pull this off. She would have been better going for something young, chic and sexy.\'

Maggie Gyllenhaal

Fashion editor Kirsty Hathaway on Maggie Gyllenhaal

\r\n\r\n

\'When asked the day to day question of \'who would you want to play you in your movie?\' I always answer with Maggie Gyllenhaal. Effortlessly chic, never conforming and hypnotizingly beautiful, Maggie is my girl crush. This dress shows her inherent chicness perfectly - the peachy pink and the sheer organza is very Spring/Summer and Maggie manages to pull off \'pretty\' without looking too sickly. My girl love just grows deeper.\'

Marion Cotillard

Fashion director Oonagh Brennan on Marion Cotillard

\'I love Marion, she is usually so effortlessly stylish but this dress is really predictable, a typical long, satin, awards style dress. I was hoping for something more exciting and on trend.\'

Fergie

\'Mmmmmmm - Barbie doll springs to mind, the colour, the tan, the blow dry and the boobs!!!! It\'s too much. It\'s a good shape on her and obviously she has a body to die for but she has taken an otherwise elegant dress and made it look tarty and cheap. Not a fan of this look at all.\'

Cameron Diaz

Fashion editor Kirsty Hathaway on Cameron Diaz

\r\n\r\n

\'I have always wanted to be Cameron\'s friend, or maybe I actually just want to be Cameron? However, I am just not too sure about this little number. I mean, she does look the part of the Hollywood starlet in dazzling red, but the satin looks slightly dated. In fact, the whole cut is reminiscent of a dress that I wore in 1998. NO joke. Was I ahead of the game, or is she just behind the times? However, Cameron is wearing her million dollar smile; it is so difficult not to love her.\'

Chloe Sevigny

Assistant fashion editor Emma Bigger on Chloe Sevigny

\'On anyone else this dress could have been a disaster but Chloe looks stunning. I love the colour and the OTT ruffles which really suit her style. She looks effortlessly beautiful and elegant. Though her hair and make up is a little severe for this look - a fresh face would have suited this dress better.\'

Kate Hudson

company.co.uk,golden globes,fashion,fashion critique,red carpet,red carpet fashion,red carpet style,awards fashion,golden globes fashion,golden globes dress,celebrity fahsion Golden Globes 2010 Kate Hudson

Fashion director Oonagh Brennan on Kate Hudson

\'This looks like a bad wedding dress, it\'s really ageing.\'
