BRITs 2011: The countdown is on!

Look! Here's an exclusive preview of the bespoke BRIT statue, styled by fashion legend Vivienne Westwood For the first time ever, The BRITs have created a 'blank canvas' trophy. Each year it will be restyled by a British creative legend. This year? The queen of cool and British fashion icon herself: Vivienne Westwood.

Out with the old and in with the new, Company can exclusively confirm that The BRIT Awards 2011 with MasterCard is moving from its former venue at Earls Court to the current home of British music: London's O2 arena.

Looking set to be THE most prestigious ceremony yet, the move is one of many of exciting changes going on behind-the-scenes for the event, which takes place on Tuesday 15th February, with a live broadcast on ITV1.

As The BRIT Awards 2011's official media partner, Company will be bringing you all the exclusive news and gossip, as and when it happens. We. Cannot. Wait. And we can't think of a better venue for the greatest party in the music calendar.

As David Campbell, President and CEO of AEG Europe, owners and operators of The O2 said: “Since The O2 opened nearly three years ago we have wanted to host The BRIT Awards and I am absolutely thrilled that dream has become reality. We will ensure, along with the BPI, that the awards are the biggest and best yet, and are delighted to be the new home for the awards.”

Excited? Hell, yeah!
