We’ve been team Little Mix from day dot here at Company HQ so we were all dancing round our living rooms in celebration last night as they took the winning Xfactor trophy. As part of our 'Stick Up For Your Sisters' campaign, launched in this month’s mag, we’re all about making a stand for sisterhood and Little Mix’s XFactor win shows we’re not the only ones.
The four lovely ladies; Jesy Nelson (20), Perrie Edwards (18), Leigh-Anne Pinnock (19) and Jade Thirlwall (18) are the best girl band to ever hit X Factor, we predict Girls Aloud status for them in no time.
The well deserved winners not only sounded amazing over the two nights but looked FAB too. We fell head over heels for their amazing personalised jumpers worn for the stunning rendition of Silent Night so we’ve set ourselves the challenge of creating a Company one just like theirs. Here’s our step-by-step instructions if you want one too...
1. Get your knit. The girls’ ice-cream pastel coloured dip-dye jumpers were from Topshop Boutique for £65 But any pale sweater will work.
2. Buy your bling. Head to John Lewis or any good haberdashery section and buy a basic sewing kit and a bag of silver sequins.
3. Sew this season. Draw out your name in material chalk and sew your sequins on. And voila – jumper complete you are the 5th member of Little Mix!
