The Sunday Flea

city spy birmingham the sunday flea

What is it?

A flea market offering ‘food, fashion, music, drink, and everything in between.

Why is it hot?

When we think of a flea market, we expect to find tatty, dirty junk that should have been thrown out long ago rather than sold on to others, so were pleasantly surprised when we made a visit to the Sunday Flea.

Located in the Custard Factory in Digbeth, officially the arts quarter of Birmingham, the Sunday Flea is not just your average market.

There are stalls selling vintage clothes, homeware, music and organic food and drink so you're unlikely to leave empty handed.

The clothes are in good condition, well sourced and reasonably priced, while the stall holders are friendly and helpful making it much more appealing than some other vintage stores.

Running between 11 - 4 on a Sunday, it is the ideal way to spend your Sunday if you don't fancy fighting your way through the busy Bullring.

Best buy?

The freshly made, gorgeously decorated cupcakes for 50p.

Bargain or Blowout?
