Why is it hot?
The Golden Lion is a charming hearty pub with a toe-tapping twist, playing wicked music, seven days a week. Sister pub to The (brilliant) Old Duke, it has only been running as a music venue for about a year and a half, but in that time has had many of Bristol's finest regulars like Kid Carpet, Fortune Drive, Pete Roe and Bad Science on its stage. There is a decent sized dance floor to get your groove on and make some serious shapes on the tiles.
What's the music like?
Upbeat and funky.
What to wear?
Anything goes here. This place is about great tunes and friendly faces.
It generally costs from £3 to £5 - a snip!
