Why is it hot?
Epernay opened its doors a few years and slowly but surely word has spread that this is the place to be if you want a decent cocktail without having it spoilt by the rowdy after work crowd. Perhaps the main reason Epernay hasn't been swamped by people dying to spend their hard earned cash on a bottle of bubbly is its location. Situated in The Electric Press off Millennium Square, Epernay is hidden from view meaning you can drop in and sample a cocktail of the extensive drinks menu (or water if it's not pay day) whilst seated on plush sofas without getting an elbow in the eye or a stiletto through your foot. When we stopped by it was a Thursday night and, although it was busy the music was low enough to allow its drinkers to natter away without the assistance of a megaphone.
What to wear?
If you have a designer label in your wardrobe grab it and if not accessorize to the max! Think Carrie or Samantha out of Sex and the City.

Average cocktail/pint/vino price?
Cocktails are all around the £5-6 mark, bottles of red and white start at £10 and for those of you after some fizz, a glass starts at £4.40.
What's the vibe?
Due to its location in the heart of Leeds business district expect plenty of single men/men pretending to be single in suits and glamorous women dressed up to the nines.
Best Drink?
Take is Sloe Honey - Sloe Gin, Manuka Honey Vodka, Vanilla Syrup and Champagne all mingle together to create a dry yet sweet drink, delicious.
