Why is it hot?
There are few shops in Leeds which stock designer gear for women whose aspirations don't revolve around becoming a WAG but for those of us who know the meaning of style, Hip comes to the rescue. Stocking brands like See By Chloe and vintage Levis, Hip is a label lovers paradise hidden in Thorntons arcade - in shops so tiny the menswear is situated a couple of doors down as it won't fit in the same building. As well as the great clothes, the real selling point of this shop is the staff who are so genuinely friendly we'd pass by time and time again just to see their wicked dress sense and have a chat about which top to buy.
Bargain or Blowout?
Blowout, but every girl needs at least one designer item in her wardrobe, right?

Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof would love it here, just be thankful they live far enough away to prevent them from snapping up all the best stuff!
Best Part?
It's location. Thornton Arcade is a beautiful old arcade full of shops you won't find anywhere else. The arcade is just off Briggate, Leeds busiest street, but only those in the know pay a visit to the amazing finds that lay within. Hip's secluded spot means it will never get completely packed so you can shop without worrying that someone will grab the best outfit before you amongst the packed rails.
