Lichtenstein: A Retrospective @ Tate Modern, London

Head to the Tate this spring to check out the work of legendary pop artist Roy Lichtenstein. Featuring well over 100 of his comic strip-inspired paintings, it’s the first full-scale retrospective of Lichtenstein in over twenty years and is definitely worth a visit.

Glam! The Performance of Style @ Tate Liverpool

Glam was a visually extravagant pop style that emerged from British art schools and exploded across the UK during the early 1970s. This exhibition, camped up with mirror balls, strobe lighting and music from the likes of David Bowie, explores the presence of glam on the works of artists such as Andy Warhol, Cindy Sherman, Allen Jones & many more.

Juergen Teller: Woo @ The Institute of Contemporary Arts, London

Fifty Fabulous Frocks @ The Fashion Museum, Bath

The Fashion Museum in Bath celebrates its 50th anniversary this year with an exhibition displaying 50 of its most glam dresses. Big fash names include Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent, Erdem and Burberry and they have everything from a champagne dress worn to a fancy dress party in Edwardian times to a classic chic Chanel suit. Definitely one for the fashionistas!

David Bowie is @ The Victoria & Albert Museum, London

Featuring costumes, set designs and ch-ch-ch-changes he made to his lyrics scribbled down for all to see, this exhibition takes a look at comeback king Bowie’s influence on music, fashion and art throughout the decades.
