Boyds Brasserie, London

boyds brasserie london

Having only opened its doors to the public after 70 years of private diners it really is a welcomed addition to the London Food and Drink and Events scene.

The owner Charles has restored the venue to a very high standard whilst keeping within all the buildings characteristics, whether its the grand marble entrance hall or the iron wine coolers dating back from world war two it all fits in rather tastefully.

The food was exceptional and to a very high standard. We dined on Chicken Liver and foie gras pate (£7.50) for starters followed by Pan fried sea bass fillets, lobster fillets and saffron sauce (£16.50)  For dessert we enjoyed Gypsy tart (£6.25)

There was great attention to detail and presentation was fantastic. The service could not have been better, the staff were very personable and attentive and were knowledgeable about the menu. I will definitely be returning and the menu caters for all price brackets its certainly worth a visit!
