Why is it hot?
In addition to serving the most delicious Mediterranean dishes, Premises is linked to the Premises music studio so you can spot a number of musicians wandering around whilst you enjoy your meal. Anyone from Lily Allen to The Arctic Monkeys can be seen here. The walls are covered in signed black and white photos making you feel like you have stumbled across a little music/eatery hide away. An up and coming band called Westside were recording the evening of my visit and overheard it was my birthday so joined in whilst everyone sang me Happy Birthday. The owner also treated me to a fabulously indulgent dessert making my evening wonderfully memorable. Premises Bistro exudes warmth and friendliness and considering all the famous names who visit, it couldn't be more relaxed and welcoming.
The locals have come to love The Premises in all its forms. During the day, Premises is a cafe serving a famous hearty breakfast and then transforms into the intimate Bistro in the evening.
Best dish?
It was difficult to choose from such a tempting menu however I tucked into the chicken shish kebabs whilst my dinner date enjoyed the lamb sultan. Both were heavenly however I secretly wished I had been more adventurous and had the Premises king prawns as they looked delicious. We also ordered an additional side dish of chips each however the meals were so generous they were not needed.
Average price for a meal of two?
Including a bottle of wine and side dishes, our meal came to just under £30. bargain! They also do not include service charge on groups of 5 or less.
What to wear?
Anything goes however there is a very relaxed vibe here.
Best part?
Not wanting to leave. I'm going back next week!
