We know that Summer holidays may seem a while away, but we are always thinking about our holiday skin routine. We're tired of worrying about the dreaded mascara run whilst dipping in and out of the pool, and sick of constant make up retouching taking up valuable cocktail time at the beach bar! Which is why, when we heard about the new non-surgical Summer Splash treatment available from the team at Karidis Non-Surgical, we were intrigued.
Karidis Non-Surgical has teamed up with leading eyelash experts ‘Lash Perfect’ to combine the popular skin radiating Hydra facial with semi-permanent eyelash extensions creating the ultimate Summer Splash package. The treatment is quick and painless leaving you with beautifully rejuvenated skin and wonderfully thick lashes, which last around 2 weeks - perfect for holiday. We headed over to St. John's Wood to meet the lovely Caroline, who talked us through the procedure before beginning.
The Summer Splash begins with specialist practitioners carrying out a full Reveal Imager Skin Analysis to highlight any red areas, brown spots and sun damaged skin. This will ensure the hydrafacial is adapted specifically to your skins needs in order provide the best results, and most importantly indicating which areas of the skin are most in need of protection from the relentless Summer rays.
A vacuum-like pen is used to remove dead skin cells and impurities from the pores on your face whilst constantly moisturizing and revitalizing the skin leaving it replenished and free from imperfections with results noticeable after just one treatment. To complete the process the Karidis team apply either a full, half or corner set of Lash Perfect’s semi-permanent eye lash extensions depending on your desired look. Your own lashes will be used as a base with the extensions adding thickness, volume and length.
When we got up and looked in the mirror after the treatment, the first thing we noticed were our amazing, long black lashes - beautiful and bold but still natural looking - you almost don't need any other make up once these are applied. Secondly, our skin, although a little blotchy initially, felt smooth, super-clean and rejuvenated. The redness was totally gone by the next day, and we were left with near-perfect skin - it was hard to believe that Caroline had managed to practically eradicate all troublesome spots in just one session. The only problem with the Splash treatment is... we think we might be hooked!
So whether you’re beach bound this summer or just looking to impress with supermodel like skin and lashes – pay a visit to the Karidis Non-Surgical team and treat yourself to the Summer Splash!
