Odd Bar

city spy manchester odd bar

Why is it hot?

There's no airs and graces at this joint so leave any pretentiousness at the door. Be prepared to let your narcissistic side loose, with so many unique mirrors hanging on the walls downstairs, you're bound to take a peek at yourself more than once! There's also a jukebox boasting an array of tunes, ask at the bar to add your demo to the mix if you want to promote your talent. This hangout holds regular live music events which are free to attend. This place has so much character, which makes it perfect to place to socialize in on a night out.

The vibe?

The ambience is truly laid back. Take your drinks down to the basement where it feels more like a friends' pad than a bar. With comfy sofas, tonnes of chairs and a projected cinema screen on the wall, complete with opening curtain, this makes for a great hangout so bring all of your closest friends.

Fit Bartenders?

The bar states that if they were a drink they'd be described as ‘a little bit cheeky with a lot of character', this can also be said for the bar staff! My flirtiest friend made eye contact with a certain someone at the bar, providing endless blushes for the remainder of the evening.

What to wear?

Think comfy, casual and blasé
