Las Iguanas

las iguanas manchester

What is it?

A quirky Latin American restaurant!

Why is it hot?

The decoration in this restaurant is really unique, with comfy coved seating, quirky lamps and a vibrant atmosphere. The menu was extensive, catering for those with nut allergies, vegetarians and dishes that were gluten free. The Brazilian dishes are so flavoursome, and the food is served unlike any other restaurant in Manchester in ceramic pots placed onto a lit candle- to keep your food hot. Our designated waitress was so helpful, keen to explain the dishes to us, and making sure we had everything we needed.

Best dish?

Highly recommended is Xinxim, which is a Brazilian dish of lime chicken in a creamy crayfish and peanut sauce, served with rice and beans this makes for a perfect evening meal.

Best part?

Due to the decor and the utterly relaxing vibe we felt like we were miles away from Manchester, and far removed from being sat inside the Trafford centre.

Average price for a meal for two?

With starters and mains each, with a glass of wine each Las Iguanas will set you back around £35-40

Address: Las Iguanas, The Great Hall, The Trafford Centre, Manchester, M17 8AA AND 84 Deansgate Manchester M3 2ER
