The Kro Bar
Why is it hot?
The Kro Bar is a great place to go and chill out with friends. Here you can relax within a cool and fresh environment and let the world go by.
At the weekends it transforms into a great bar with DJs and a vibrant, lively atmosphere.
It is more of a bar food place, rather than a restaurant. You order your meal with drinks at the bar. The menu is varied and very reasonably priced
After your main course, make the most of some good deals. They have a deal where you can have any cake and coffee for £2.50 - bargain! - ideal for lunch or a simple meal after work.
All of the food is tasty and fairly sized, no complaints. The bar also has a wide range of drinks stocked, with an interesting selection of beers and ales.
Kro fills the void between poor quality pub grub and restaurant food - it provides good quality, reasonably priced, home cooked food, in a relaxed pub/bar type location.
Prices..
Main courses include Danish meatballs and home-made fish cakes at around £5, with sandwiches priced at £2.50 - £3.50.
There is also a cosmopolitan wine list, with house wine available at £10 a bottle and a good range of draft beers
