Sugar Lounge
If you're looking to boogie the night away with Manchester's sexy and glamorous elite, then set your sights on the Sugar Lounge.
Why is it hot? Sugar lounge is a fantastic place to go and it really lives up to its reputation as one of the ‘classiest' in the city. Located on the trendy Deansgate locks, this place is as sweet as it sounds. With sumptuous leather sofas, pretty lighting and mirrored ceilings, you'll soon realise this lounge is very different to the one you watch television in at home. Plus, you can take advantage of its great location and try out some of the other clubs and bars on the locks.
Best part? Spread out over two floors, it's perfect for every occasion, whether you want to party hard, mingle with the young and loaded or relax with your mates. The atmosphere in here is electric, people tend to end their nights here, so expect guests to be a little tipsy, but this only adds to the lively mood.
What's the music like? The music adds to the atmosphere and is a safe place to go if you want to hear something different than the usual golden oldies mixed with Britney Spears.
What's the vibe and what to wear? It's a popular hot spot for the ‘street' and ‘hollyoak' girls, so this should give you some idea of how to dress. I'll drop you a hint; you won't find any neon bras and furry boots here. Dress sexy and smart, the bouncers can be picky and if they don't like the look of you, you won't be getting in.
Entry Fee? Entrance fees (if you get in!) depend on what time you arrive, it's best to turn up around 11pm as it really starts getting busy then. You'll pay around £5 on the door
Average cocktail/pint/vino price? Drinks aren't badly priced with around £3 for a glass of wine. There's nothing out of the ordinary on the menu, just the standard offerings of wine, beer and cocktails.
Address: Deansgate locks, Whitworth Street, M1 5LH
