Back in February, we held a series of casting calls in River Island stores around the country to find the girls who would star in our May issue\'s fashion and beauty pages!

And we weren\'t just looking for size 8, 6ft tall girls either, we were after girls with a big dollop of attitude who represent everything that\'s cool about your favourite mag... and you turned up in your hundreds!
\r\n\r\n
We were spoilt for choice so we had a tough time selecting the eight girls who would be appearing in Company, though we got there in the end and here are our magazine\'s May issue models! When I got the call to say I\'d been picked I was shocked because I thought I\'d at least have to go through a few more stages! The make up artist and hair stylist were brilliant on the day and the photographer helped explain what I needed to do and how to pose. I\'m thinking of going into modelling now and will use these pictures to start off my portfolio!\"

There were lots of people there on the day and I knew there were other ones taking place around the UK so I was surprised to be picked out of so many people! I\'d love to be a model and this has given me a real taste of it. I had to have a St Tropez spray tan for the shoot and it was useful to learn how to do it properly. I loved the clothes too!\"
