It’s hard to believe that a whopping twenty years have passed since Croydon-girl Kate posed for her very first cover, but she sure does have a lot to show for it!
With all the style and the scandal it’s easy to forget that first and foremost Kate is a model, but this lovely book contains the defining photographs from her enviable career showcasing her transition from model to muse.
From that iconic Calvin Klein campaign through to her Testino wedding pics, this book is a bit of a treat for all the Moss-devotees out there as well as being a great reminder of why Kate is the undisputed queen of the grungy London look.
The book is edited by Kate's ex Jefferson Hack (we're not sure we'd let OUR ex publish a book about us!) and her best friend Jess Hallett, and is set to contain a selection of iconic images by some of the greatest fashion photographers around as well as a few images cherry-picked by Kate herself.
There are already a number of books about Kate, but this one looks like the most personal yet giving us a real insight into what makes Kate such a star. It may not be the autobiography that we’re all secretly hoping for, but it’s certainly a piece of fashion photography history!
The stylish book, published by Rizzolli, is available from November 6th for a slightly steep £50, but if you love Kate as much as we do it’s certainly worth a purchase!
