Ashley Isham

Well, the past few days have been a fashionista whirlwind for the Company fashion girls. This season there has been a long overdue buzz around London Fashion Week with the return of Burberry and Matthew Williamson to our fine shores, not to mention Young Fashion Royalty Christopher Kane, Nathan Jenden, Jonathan Sanders and Marios Schwab\'s collections stomping the catwalks. With this, a bit of glitz returns to our city. We bring you the gossip, trends, round ups and celeb spots straight from the shows.

Friday saw the start of LFW and with that we saw our diaries jam packed. We started the day at Ashley Isham who is renowned for his beautiful red-carpet-worthy dresses, and, once again, he did not disappoint.

\r\n\r\n

Cobalt blue was his colour de jour with an Arabian undertone to note. Flowing chiffons, gold embellishment and many a ruffle detail was shortly followed by bright techo prints on more flowing gowns. He finished his show with a bridal collection that makes you want to grab the closest guy and march down the aisle. Luckily, you will be happy to know, we didn\'t.

Bora Aksu

Bora Aksu has been Fashion Director, Oonagh Brennan\'s favourite show to date for S/S 2010. The leggings are simply to die for (as were the legs of the amazing models giraffe like legs). Sequin and lace in amazing swirls and patterns have that perfect mix of soft meets hard. The rest of the collection was to match, soft Chantilly lace in delicate creams styled together with peplum belts that added shape and structure. Draped netted dresses on top of patterned sequins mixed with webbed knits all paired with lashing of tough black to sidestep being too pretty.

Jameela Jamil was in the front row, we had a good gossip with Company\'s new columnist about everything from the show, fashion week and those pesky paps!

Sass & Bide

london fashion week,catwalk pictures,sass & bide,betty jackson,felder felder,jaegar,twenty8 twelve,marcus constable,william tempest,ashley isham,meadem kirchoff,catwalk pictures london fashion week on the catwalk in pictures sass and bide

Sass & Bide was the last show on Friday and it was everything that we would have hoped for. In true Sass and Bide style we got lots of monochrome with a nod to bondage. A land where chiffon meets military and black and white stripes meet chain mail there is little not to like. Also relieved to see that the big shoulder isn\'t going anywhere in a rush. We spotted Palermo Faith in the front row.

Blow Presents

Saturday morning started bright and early with Blow Presents. Started by Fashion PR company last season this show is devoted to helping and finding the fashion talent of the future. Creative juices were certainly in full flow. With no need to nod to commercialism, young talent Charlie Le Mindu, Gemma Slack, Lina Osterman and Iris Van Herpen are left to be as creative as their fashion hearts desire. From Gemma Slack\'s aluminium based skirts and neckpieces to Le Mindu\'s dresses and tops made entirely from hair (Yes, you heard, hair.) the sky was certainly the limit.

Betty Jackson

Sunday involved a super early start for the Betty Jackson show. Fashionista\'s firmly gripping their soya cappuccino\'s we were in for a treat of florals, bussles, pretty pastals (we are going to channel peaches and dusty pinks), ice cream coloured pop socks, ruffle necks and lots more metallic. The make-up was beautiful with a pretty pink cheek.

Warehouse

Then, it was off to see Ruth green\'s collection for Warehouse. Warehouse teamed together with the British Fashion Council to find new talent and with that, they found Ruth. Straight out of Ravensbourne college of art, Ruth has lovely soft, colour blocked knits. Slouchy and fashionable we are certainly getting a few for our winter wardrobe. In store now for 3 months.

Marcus Constable

Marcus Constable makes tailoring interesting this season with draping, stripes, netted dresses and gathered chiffon all teamed with oversized leather brogues and crisp white shirts. Beautiful and clean.

Toppers

As you know, here at Company we are rather big fans of good old Toppers and apparently we aren\'t the only ones with everybody from Alexa Chung, Olivia Palermo, Peaches, Nicole Roberts, liberty Ross, Jamie Winston, my girl crush, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld and none other than Kate Moss sitting front row opposite the Company fashion team. In terms of clothes, we are looking at biker chic meets surfer chic with padded leather jackets, super distressed denim paired with bubblegum pink latex (with matching lips to boot!) Sportwear seems to be the trend du jour for the high street mega, not in the sweaty sense of course, more in the 70\'s chic way. Let\'s get physical.

Meadham Kirchhoff

london fashion week,catwalk pictures,sass & bide,betty jackson,felder felder,jaegar,twenty8 twelve,marcus constable,william tempest,ashley isham,meadem kirchoff,catwalk pictures london fashion week on the catwalk in pictures meadham kirchoff

With Monday we saw the arrival of Anna Wintour in London (The Fashion God) and so starts the mentalness. First show of the day is Meadham Kirchhoff (where we are eyeball to eyeball across the catwalk from the Fashion God). The clothes were a compilation of everything of opposites - flowing chiffons with tough and structured metallic tunics, cropped jackets with voluminous tops and skirts. Clever and different. We like.

Jaeger

london fashion week,catwalk pictures,with sass & bide,betty jackson,felder felder,jaegar,twenty8 twelve,marcus constable,william tempest,ashley isham,meadem kirchoff,catwalk pictures lon london fashion week on the catwalk in pictures jaeger

Jaeger felt very 70\'s chic Michael Kors, it makes you want to grab the collection and spend a month on a yacht. Lots of monochrome chiffons and silks, safari khaki\'s with a few splashes of tangerine AND, once again, more metallic. We are spotting this trend carrying through yet another season.

Felder Felder

london fashion week,catwalk pictures,with sass & bide,betty jackson,felder felder,jaegar,twenty8 twelve,marcus constable,william tempest,ashley isham,meadem kirchoff,catwalk pictures lon london fashion week on the catwalk in pictures felder felder

In a season where everybody is edging towards white and a pastel palette, Felder Felder are doing the opposite. With lots of black with studding and metal embellishment it had a very hard and biker feel to it. Means your winter wardrobe will do you well still come spring! The celebs obviously like this with the likes of VV Brown, Little Boots, George Lamb and Alex James there to take notes.

Twenty8Twelve

london fashion week,catwalk pictures,with sass & bide,betty jackson,felder felder,jaegar,twenty8 twelve,marcus constable,william tempest,ashley isham,meadem kirchoff,catwalk pictures lon london fashion week on the catwalk in pictures twenty8 twelve

Twenty8Twelve is quite the celeb tastic show. From a celeb packed front row, celeb models and, of course, the celeb designers. This is celeb fashion at its highest. The collection felt like all the things you may see style icon, Sienna Miller in herself. Super washed denim, bra tops, maxi dresses and lashings of gold. It was wearable, pretty and very Twenty8Twelve.

William Tempest

london fashion week,catwalk pictures,with sass & bide,betty jackson,felder felder,jaegar,twenty8 twelve,marcus constable,william tempest,ashley isham,meadem kirchoff,catwalk pictures lon london fashion week on the catwalk in pictures william tempest

We headed to see William Tempest\'s second collection at the Vauxhall Fashion Scout location.

\r\n\r\n

Never have I ever seen so many people wanting to see one show. An hour late in starting the hype had quite grown (as had the number of people in one room!).

\r\n\r\n

Tempest pays such attention to detail in his designs that you know you are in for a treat. ‘Wow!\' dresses a plenty, this collection was very seductive with lots of black, white, metallic and the most beautiful bite of tangerine orange. Excited already about his next collection!
