Christian Louboutin was the front runner in this trend. His amazing leopard print pony skin boots caused a frenzy in the fashion world and had us all wondering if we could save our pennies, not go out for a year and really spend £895 on a pair of boots! Well, thank god for the British high street as not only have they followed suit but they have done a pretty amazing job!!
Pony skin animal prints are a real statement piece for your winter wardrobe. The aim is to avoid the Bette Lynch look (obviously) and go sexy and sassy a la Kate Moss. If you go wild on your feet avoid high shine, metallics and sequins in your outfit as this may be just a tad OTT!!! Go for soft knits, plain jersey fabrics, denim and fluid silks. Rolled up jeans, a blazer and logo tee and a pair of animal print shoe boots is such a good look!!!

Experiment by mixing up your animal print with floral and checks. Be careful!
