‘40s queen Dita von Teese, eat your heart out! From her hair to her toes, 25-year-old Ruth looks every inch the ‘40s siren, and when we spotted her on London’s Carnaby Street at the weekend we were spell-bound by her bold retro look.
Finding your own signature style is a great way to put an end to those ‘I have nothing to wear’ days, get the make-up and hair right, throw in a few staple items in the right colours and style and hey presto, you’re a style icon.
Peep-toes are a great way to ease yourself into summer’s warmer weather and we love Ruth’s retro polka dots ones which have travelled with her all the way from New York. Her cute puff skirt is from Collective and simple vest top is a H&M number. By adding some statement splashes of red on her nails and lips, Ruth stops this look from being too monochrome although with that amazing fringe we doubt there will be even the slightest chance that Ruth will ever slip into the background.
