Taking its cue from Mary's AW11 mainline range whilst keeping the Topshop girl in mind, the nine piece collection focuses on Mary's trademark vibrant prints and elements of structure. Opulent fantastical prints developed exclusively for Topshop in paradisiacal shades are inspired by the intricate detailing found on prised possessions. Hyper vivid crystal flower brooches, lacquered Coromandel screens and Qing Long Dynasty floral motif china dazzle on satins, silks and jersey. These prints are then collaged together and engineered around the female form into different shapes including Mary's signature porcelain bowl-inspired skirted party dresses, tailored trousers, and easy-to-wear pieces such as leggings, a t-shirt and a tunic dress.

The stand-out 'Pheasant Dream' dress is reminiscent of a porcelain vase, with a fuchsia bouquet formed around a high neckline and a floral china Ming vase skirt.
A sleeveless sheer button-back georgette blouse is pretty and delicate-looking with a scattering of jewel-encrusted flower brooches upon it, whilst the 'Goldbird' silk tunic proudly boasts a gem-filled gold bird perching on a photo-real hydrangea nest.

Bringing the English country garden indoors, Chinoiserie florals flourish across fabrics. Dainty carnations twirl across deep blue jersey leggings and a simple tee shape. Focusing on the idea of layering and combining prints as seen on Mary's catwalk, items can be worn together for the ultimate head-to-toe Mary Katrantzou for Topshop look.
"It's very exciting to work with Topshop for our third range together. They've been so supportive of my work from the very beginning and this range will be the most ambitious one we've done and the most fun! My idea behind the collaboration was to design for the Topshop girl a range that is as close to the aesthetic of my mainline as possible, with great control over the quality of design and production. I can't wait to see the Topshop girls in the bowl dresses and for the most daring to see them try the print on print layering!"

Mary Katrantzou for Topshop
Greek-born print designer Mary studied at Rhode Island School of Design before transferring to Central St Martins to complete a BA and then an MA in Textile Design. With sponsorship from Topshop New Generation funding, she has shown her own mainline collection during London Fashion Week for the last five seasons, and last year won the Swiss Textile award and this year the UKTI award.
