When Marks & Spencer announced its new flagship store at 100 Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, we were more than a little excited - and even more when we found out we were invited alongside international supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to officially mark the retailer's return to France!
Trading over three floors, the 1,400 square metre store is part of M&S 'bricks & clicks' strategy, as it returns to the French market with a combined store and e-commerce offer. In October, M&S unveiled its first international website, www.marksandspencer.fr, serving customers across France. The retailer has also confirmed three new full line stores in Paris, with a further two new stores in the pipeline, and has an ongoing search for suitable Simply Food store sites in and around the capital - how chic!
Located on Paris' premier shopping street, the new aspirational store will offer customers the very best of M&S' stylish womenswear and lingerie, as well as a specially chosen selection of food.
Marks & Spencer Chief Executive, Marc Bolland, said: "We're delighted to be returning to France tomorrow with our new store at the heart of Paris. We've had numerous requests from consumers in France for our food and clothing, so were pleased to be coming back to serve French customers once again."
The gorgeous actress and face of M&S Autograph brand, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley said: "Its a pleasure to be part of Marks & Spencers much anticipated return to France and Im proud to be associated with this iconic British brand. Parisians are internationally renowned for their effortless style and the M&S Autograph collection embodies the same chic sense of fashion." She was wearing an amazing peplum dress from the Autograph collection which we'll all be rushing straight into store to buy!
So if you're in Paris, make sure you take a look at this amazing store!
