Cocktail of the Week: Soyer au Champagne

On our way back from Paris Fashion Week on the Eurostar, we thought we'd drop into The Booking Office at the Beautiful St Pancras Renaissance Hotel. It's right next to the station, so would have been rude not to… ;)

Situated in the original station's ticket hall, the Booking Office is pretty impressive – a vaulted cathedral-like room with a beautiful decor that takes you back in time to the 1800s. The 29-metre-long bar is the main focal point and one of the most important features of the historic hotel. A definite must-go destination for a post-shopping cocktail if ever you're passing through

The cocktails here are pretty amazing too and we tried the unusual Soyer au Champagne, which was served at the original hotel back in the 1800s. Made with cider brandy, orange liqueur, cherry liqueur, vanilla ice cream and Champagne, this is one cocktail you really have to try. Deliciously decadent, sophisticated, elegant and fun. Just like us! We totally recommend!
