Asking around the Company office, we've all tried those classics, Malibu and Coke and Malibu and pineapple, but a Malibu cocktail? Not such an obvious choice! So the MaliBoom-Boom was a new take on an old classic, getting us in the mood for a Caribbean holliday (yes please!)
LISA THE LUSH SAYS: "The taste of Malibu took me back to my early clubbing days - ah the memories! Not to mention the fact that I felt like I should be sunbathing on a beach somewhere sweet yet strong and very drinkable, the MaliBoom-Boom will be my new fave drink come summer!"

UNCLE MIKEY SAYS: "I haven't drunk Malibu since 1983 (yes, before you were born!), when I got very drunk on cheap Malibu-cokes while holidaying in Tenerife So one sip of this brought back all kinds of scary teenage flashbacks (including a Swedish girl called Mia yes, it was THAT long ago!) Anyway, I digress Taste-wise, this probably isn't my favourite cocktail in the world (coconut + grapefruit aren't quite top of my flavour-sensation list), but it did bring back a few sunny, and funny, Malibu-fuelled memories!"

HOW TO MAKE THE MALIBOOM-BOOM
25ml Malibu rum
25ml vodka
75ml grapefruit juice
50ml lemonade
Cubed ice, lime wedge
Fill a hi-ball glass with cubed ice. Pour in the Malibu rum, vodka and grapefruit juice and then top with lemonade. Serve with a lime wedge for garnish.
