According to the Daily Mail, Alexandra said, I'm really surprised so many people like it. Getting the Christmas No 1 is a long shot but who knows?
Company spotted Alex's star style straight away so arent surprised to see her in an ad made by LA based director Julien Lutz whos worked with stars like R Kelly, Usher, Kanye West and Nelly Furtado (nice!) Alex and co have even received celeb support with Radio 1 DJ Zane Lowe, well-known for championing new music, tweeting must be intimidating for The X Factor finalists to have to compete with the infinitely better Yeo Valley crew each week.
With lyrics like rolling with my massey on a summers day the ad and its quirky rap stars have proved popular and after it was aired on Sunday night the ad became a top trend on YouTube and has had over one million hits. You can watch the video here...
Somersets Yeo Valley paid £5 million to show the exclusive ad during show breaks and it seems its money well spent as demand has grown leading to the tune being released on iTunes.
At least poor Joe McElderry, who was caught in the X-Factor Christmas crossfire last year and beat to the Number 1 spot by Rage Against The Machine can take solace that he was beat by a band not rap stars in flat caps and wellies.
But should Cowell be worrying yet? (We doubt he is - hes probably too busy trying to remember the right names of One Direction)! Here at Company HQ we say forget a pint with Matt Cardell and give us a glass of milk with a fit farmer!
