Australian actress Bella appeared on cinema screens this year as Victoria Winters in Tim Burtons wonderful Dark Shadows. Her ability to pull off glam dress after dress in such an effortless way assures us she’ll be hard to beat in the new style stakes.

This Devonshire lass is super cute and quirky and has walked for Topshop Unique, and had editorial coverage in cool magazines iD, Wonderland.

Is one of new electro duo AlunaGeorge. Alunas sweet vocals layered over Georges cool electro – synthy beats are worth a listen and her ability to move to it in some cool dresses in their video ‘you know you like it’ is worth checking out. We’re adding them to our playlist as we type.

This downton Abbey actress has ditched the period drama costume appearing in tv series Misfits, and mini series Labrynth. Shes also due to star in the film Not Another Happy Ending alongside Dr Who face Karen gillan. Oh so pretty and versatile too (period costume is not easy to pull off ya know!) we’re looking forward to her next role in Winters Tale due out 2013.

Singer and emerging style icon Jessie Ware is a regular on our summer playlists. The London based artist has worked with SBTRKT (the one who performs with a tribal mask) sampled by the boys of Disclosure and has made our summer soundtrack with her single 110% check out her amazing vocals and glam style at festivals this summer.

Ridiculously cool and quirky Canadian Grimes not only sings but makes her own beats through a number of electronic machines and synths and performs them live. Multitasking at its best and so stylishly too! Solidly touring from now until winter check out her style and sounds at Reading and Leeds fest this summer.

We\'re mad about sibling collaborations atm so we also had to include cool American sister band Haim in our ones to watch. you can find them larking around on some vintage chopper bikes in with their long hippy locks and denim cut offs.

You may (or may not) recognize this girl from former childrens programme the worst witch. She also worked tomboy style in Chalet girl but this girls style is nothing but pretty, and sophisticated. She made us weep in the heartbreaking film Like Crazy but look out for her in period comedy Cheerful Weather for the Wedding.

Replacing Cara Delevigne in the Burberry campaigns is the gorgeous Gabriella Wilde. Front row at all the cool fashion shows her pretty girl next door look has when shes not being beautiful in burberry campaigns shes working on her career as an actress, see/envy her as ‘sue snell’ in the Carrie remake out in 2013.

Watch out Clemence Poesy as our new ‘I wish I was her’ girl is French actress Lea Seydoux. (what is it about French actresses?) The natural beauty was that French hotty in Woody Allens Midnight in Paris. She’s appropriately been cast as La belle in a French remake of Beauty and the Beast due for 2013. J’adore!

You may Recognise this girl from the H&M S/S campaign. She keeps the fashion credentials starring in the very stylish film Comes a Bright Day. A british beauty in the making we look forward to seeing her in 2013 film adaptation of Nick Hornbys A long way Down.

We loved her character Jessa in the HBO series Girls, English actress living in NY Jemima Kirke is on our list of cool people to watch for her fresh take on bohemian style. As well as acting she’s also a dab hand with the paintbrush bagging herself a Fine arts degree from rhode school of art and design. Now that’s cool!
