Every Friday, Company's Agony Uncle, Mikey Melis, and Lisa The Lush create their very own Ocado cocktail for you to try at the weekend...

This one started off as a healthy detox to ease us into the new year. But to give it a bit of a kick, we just couldn't resist adding a dash of our favourite Russian Standard vodka…

UNCLE MIKEY SAYS: "I really like this one. A lot. It's kind of like a Mojito martini, only with pomegranate. Very minty, very refreshing – and the ginger gives it that extra kick. It almost tastes healthy, so I'm more than happy to detox on a few of these…!"

LISA THE LUSH SAYS: ""For some reason, as soon as I tasted this I thought how well it would go with a nice roast lamb! Maybe it's the mint, or the berry flavour - or the combination of the two! The ginger adds a lovely warming feeling. Thumbs up!"

HOW TO MAKE THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH:
 
50ml Russian Standard vodka
60ml Pomegranate juice
20g thinly sliced ginger
Lots of mint leaves                                               

Pour the vodka and pomegranate juice into cocktail shaker. Add the mint leaves and ginger and muddle (that's crush to you and me). Add lots of ice. Shake all ingredients vigorously, strain and pour into a cocktail glass. Garnish with mint leaves.
