MPHO had been in the hairdressers since early-o'clock having her hair styled and straightened when she arrived for our shoot. In the rain. Now, we're not talking about a light shower here, more of a torrential downpour. And, while we'd be launching into full-scale tantrums about the curse of the British weather, and our fabulous hair, all it takes is an umbrella for the Brixton-raised singer to glide in to our shoot apparently unfazed.
In fact, as she sits down with her cup of coffee she brings a chilled, calming vibe to all around her, and there's none of the prowess you might expect from someone who's been touted by pretty much all the music press, as the most exciting thing in music. In fact, she wins instant brownie points when she compliments us on our outfits and jewellery and coos over the wardrobe we've put together for her shoot. Could she be any nicer? Nope!
